About Jen and Empowered Balance

A Gentle Space for Life’s In-Between Times

Created by Jen, a mindfulness and self-care guide. Empowered Balance is a quiet space for anyone moving through a transition, feeling a bit lost, or simply curious about a different way. Instead of loud advice or quick fixes, you’ll find soft, beginner-friendly practices that help you slow down, breathe, and feel a little more like yourself again.

What Is Empowered Balance?

Empowered Balance is a calm, honest place to land when life feels uncertain or in-between. It's for those moments when the old way doesn't feel right anymore, but the new way hasn't fully appeared yet.

Here, you are not asked to “fix” yourself. You are invited to notice what is true, gently care for your mind and body, and take one small step at a time.

• Give your thoughts and feelings a safe home on paper
• Untangle worries and soften that constant swirl in your mind
• Notice small moments of ease, gratitude, and possibility in everyday life
• Feel more grounded in your body, even when life feels uncertain
• Take your next right step without pressure or perfection

A Note From the Creator

Hello, I’m Jen, the creator of Empowered Balance and your guide.

I’ve spent a lot of my life feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed. For years I worked 12–14 hour days in corporate world, trying to juggle a career, a marriage, and motherhood while feeling completely drained. On the outside, things looked “fine.” Inside, I was exhausted and unsure which way to go next. Most of what I read or tried asked for more time and energy than I had, when what I really needed were simple, honest practices that fit into real life.

I wanted a different way; A softer space where it was okay to give yourself some grace, move slowly, listen inward, and let small practices add up over time. A place where you could show up exactly as you are, with no judgment.

The practices I offer here are the same ones that helped me find my way back to calm and clarity, one small step at a time.

• You don’t have to be “good at” mindfulness or journaling to begin.
• Tiny, honest moments with yourself can change things more than you think.
• You’re allowed to move at your own pace, even when life feels urgent.
• You are not behind. You’re just in a tender, in-between time, and that is okay. Give yourself grace.

Where to Begin

If you are feeling drawn to this space, your next step does not have to be big. It can be as simple as choosing one gentle thing that helps you breathe a little easier.

You might start by exploring the journals, joining the waitlist for future meditations or courses, or following along on social media for quiet, weekly quotes and reminders.

Or simply try one small calming practice today and notice how it feels.
